What you should always have stocked in your fridge to make smoothies healthy, quick, and easy.

Keep these items stocked in your fridge:

  • spinach and/or kale
  • bananas
  • your choice of nut butter
products to make smoothies

In 2017, Flora Health sent several products for me to try. I was familiar with this company when I ran a marathon in 2011. I was so excited to try I continue to use those products to make smoothies healthy, quick, and easy!

Adding supplements help pack in needed vitamins, minerals, and boosts! I’ve added Flora Health Omega Sport+ and Green Blend to my smoothies making a huge difference to the way I feel inside and out! Green Blend adds 2 servings of veggies and aids in digestion. Omega Sport+ is a powerful oil blend that boosts energy and provides joint support. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my joints and overall post-run recovery!

Have the tools to get the job done

Investing in a quality blender will make the whole process easier! I found a Nutri-Bullet on sale during the holidays. Look for deals on blenders during the holidays and the start of the new year.

Now that you have the foundation needed to make smoothies daily, you can add any seasonal fruit or veggies you have on hand. When I’m really pressed for time, I like to use packaged mixed fruit cups, like those from Dole or Del Monte, with pineapple, peaches, and pears.

Experiment to create unique tastes. Make it your own signature smoothie.

Here are a few delicious smoothies I found from Flora Health’s blog –

  1. Great article, I love smoothies! I just finished Dr. Oz 3 Day Cleanse with smoothies and I loved it. I felt no hunger, the smoothies were filling and delicious.
