Local Legends 馃弳 Connecting Stocktonians to Students in the Classroom

The Reinvent South Stockton Education Committee is proud to officially introduce the Local Legends project to the community. What a wonderful turn out for our reception!

Click here for the official write up by Joy Neas, which was published in The Record, Stockton’s newspaper.

For educators, “Local Legends” are nominated Stocktonians who are willing to share their expertise with students in collaboration with your classroom curriculum. To nominate a Stocktonian for this project, click here.

Follow The Reinvent South Stockton Coalition on Facebook for more information & photos. I’d like to share a few fun ones of my own.

Several Local Legends were present to accept a special certificate and recognition.

My daughter and son were MCs for the event. Great job!

Our dear friend and fellow Education Committee member Patty Lovato peeking in the background. We have fun too!
Another dear friend AngelAnn Flores sneaking in the picture! She’s very supportive of projects to promote educational success for our children.
