On Fridays We Fight! VOICES: Childcare Survey

Calling all mothers of children from 0-18 years old! Complete the VOICES: Childcare Survey to help assess child care needs in Stockton.

The Stockton Young Women’s Task Force has released their survey online! Over the next several weeks, they will also canvas neighborhoods to encourage more women to complete the survey as well as hold forums and interviews. This collects our voices and takes them directly to service providers and policy makers to initiate improvements.

Advance the voices of Stockton mothers! Here are three ways you can help.

Take the survey. Surveys will be collected throughout the Summer only. Please take a few minutes to complete one.

Attend a focus group. Follow The Stockton Younger Women’s Task Force for updates. You can also contact them to hold a focus group with your organization.

Spread the word! Please share the link with other mothers of children aged 0-18 years. Also, if a mother is under 18 years old herself, she can complete the survey with parental consent.

We know there are childcare services out there. However, there is a definite disconnect somewhere along the line. I’ve personally felt it and many mothers have expressed a need for improvement. Let’s do our part to address these concerns. Childcare is a must for upward mobility in education and career. We have to do better for our families. How have you navigated childcare in Stockton?
