My mom would make oregano tea for us when we were children. Now she reminds us to make for ourselves when we’re coughing and congested. Give this recipe a try! A little tip: experiment with adding different amounts of honey and lemon to sweeten the taste.
This recipe is simple and quick!
Dried oregano, lemon, and honey is all you need!
- Boil 2 cups of water
- Toss in a small amount of dried oregano leaves
- Steep for 5 mins (any longer will increase the taste intensity)
- Strain the leaves while pouring into a mug
- Squeeze in lemon to taste
- Add honey to taste
