VOICES: A Childcare Survey for Stockton’s Mothers

Stockton mothers of children from 0-18 years old can help improve childcare in our area. Complete the VOICES: Childcare Survey to help assess Stockton’s child care needs.

The Stockton Young Women’s Task Force has released the VOICES: Childcare Survey online! This survey will collect our voices and take them directly to service providers and policy makers to initiate improvements in childcare. Over several weeks, the Task Force have canvased neighborhoods to encourage more women to complete the survey. They’ve also held focus groups and interviews. There’s more you can do!

Advance the voices of Stockton mothers! Here are three ways you can help now.

  • Take the survey. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
  • Spread the word! Please share the link with other mothers of children aged 0-18 years. Also, if a mother is under 18 years old herself, she can complete the survey with parental consent.
  • Attend the next focus group with The Stockton Younger Women’s Task Force on Saturday, September 28th from 11AM – 1PM at 2505 Connecticut Ave, Stockton, CA 95206.

How have you navigated childcare in Stockton? 

We know there are childcare services out there. However, there is a definite disconnect along the line. I’ve personally felt it and many mothers have expressed a need for improvement.
